Oil first, wash after. Pre-Shower Body Oil (100 ml) goes on before the bath, Shikakai Hair Wash (100 g) takes it out again without stripping, and an oil-treated neem wood comb comes with it.
This is the order most Indian households already know. The oil has time to sit, the shikakai cleans rather than squeaks, and the comb goes through afterwards without pulling.

Does shikakai lather like shampoo?
Not much. It cleans without the foam you get from a detergent, so the first wash can feel different.
How much powder do I need?
Two to three teaspoons mixed into a thin paste is enough for most hair lengths.
Can I use the body oil on my hair?
Yes. It is a pre-shower oil, so it is meant to be washed out.
How do I look after the comb?
Keep it dry between uses and wipe it clean. Do not soak it.
