How do I use herbal hair and face powders?
Most powders are mixed into a smooth paste with water, rose water or yogurt and left on for 20–30 minutes before rinsing off. Hair powders like amla, bhringraj and henna are applied to the scalp or damp hair; face powders like kasturi and orange peel work as a weekly face mask.
