Why our hibiscus bath salt is worth it
Hibiscus bath salt is the one people buy for their skin rather than their muscles. Hibiscus has been used for softness and tone in India for as long as anyone has written it down, and in a warm soak it leaves skin smooth enough that most people skip moisturiser afterwards.
Epsom salt and Himalayan pink salt make up the base, with real dried hibiscus petals through it. Nothing synthetic, and nothing added for colour.
How to store it
Keep your hibiscus bath salt sealed and away from steam. Salt draws moisture out of the air, so an open pouch left on a bathroom shelf will clump within weeks. Stored properly in a dry cupboard it keeps its texture and scent for well over a year, since there is nothing in it that can spoil.
The petals may darken slightly over time. That is the plant oxidising, not the salt going off, and it makes no difference to the soak.
