Dandruff is rarely just dryness. It is usually a scalp out of balance, with fungal growth and excess oil feeding each other. Medicated shampoos knock it back for a week, then it returns, because the scalp is left stripped and irritated.

The oil in this anti dandruff kit uses freshly crushed shallots, long used in South Indian homes for their natural antifungal action, with vetiver to calm the itch. The shikakai wash then cleans without stripping, so the scalp is not left raw and starting the cycle again.

Anti-Dandruff Hair Oil, 100ml. Four ingredients only: cold-pressed coconut oil, cold-pressed castor oil, freshly crushed shallots and vetiver. No mineral oil, no medicated smell.

Shikakai Hair Wash Powder, 100g. Twelve herbs that clean the scalp gently. No sulphates, which matters when your scalp is already irritated.

Neem Wood Comb, free. Neem is naturally antimicrobial, and a wooden comb will not scratch an inflamed scalp the way plastic teeth do.
